The officers’ injuries are believed to be non-life-threatening, Gripp said. They are being treated at local hospitals.
Other officers are receiving medical attention for what he said were non-gunshot injuries.
Police have not said whether anyone else has been injured.
Authorities say police were serving a warrant before shots rang out in the Nicetown-Tioga area at around 4:30 p.m.
